Aberdeen is a small town in the Cacadu District of the Eastern Cape province of South-Africa. The town is set in the heart of the Candeboo Mountains and have numerous examples of Victorian architecture. The town is situated between the historic towns of Graaff-Reinet and Beauford West. The nearest cities is Port-Elizabeth and George.
The sights within the town that also warrant attention are the Dutch Reformed Church with its noticeably leaning, high tower. The architecture of the Magistrates Court is worth spending time with, especially the gargoyles on the roof.
